I just come back after four days under the sun, at my boyfriend’s parents home, in the extreme South of France.
The swimming pool behind the kitchen garden (eggplants, tomatoes, strawberries, figs…) and the sea 30 minutes away by car (words of songs remixed and sang loud and giggles form morning to night), a very good way of finishing the summer.
Small medley of this long weekend : the argentic photos of my Fish Eye and my waterproof camera will follow (they’ll be the subject of a next article) !
On the last day, we went to the Couvent des Minimes, to see an bit of the enormous exhibition VISA for the image : the biggest international festival of photojournalism, which takes place every year in Perpignan.
Shocking photos, emotionally hard, unusual, sometimes unbearable…the current events of the World in images.
Some are still engraved in my retina, so I remained upset and shocked.
If you pass by Perpignan before September 12th, it’s inescapable.
