J’ai reçu hier mon colis de vêtements offerts par Quiksilver Women, en remerciement de notre « collaboration » de juillet dernier.
Que de soie, de bonne qualité et de confort…j’ai eu une belle surprise, car je ne savais pas précisément ce que j’allais avoir, suite à mes choix.
Voici pour ce premier look une ravissante robe en soie couleur « charbon », comme précisé sur l’étiquette, ainsi que la parka kaki et son énooooorme capuche bien profonde, qui m’a déjà servie sous la fine bruine de fin d’après-midi. Celle-ci ne va pas me quitter durant l’automne.
Me voilà comblée, et la cerise sur le cupcake a été de recevoir les photos du shooting Gossip Girls !!!
Vous verrez ça lundi matin : 8h !

I received my parcel of clothes offered by Quiksilver Women yesterday, in thanking of our « collaboration » of last July.
Tons of silk, good quality and comfort…I had a beautiful surprise, because I didn’t know exactly what I was going to have, further to my choices.
Here is for this first look a charming silk dress « charcoal » color , as specified on the label, as well as khaki parka and its very deeeeeep hood, thatwas already helpful under the fine drizzle of the end of the afternoon. This one is not going to leave me during autumn.
I’m really happys, and the cherry on the cupcake was to receive the photos of the shooting Gossip Girls!!!
You’ll see that on Monday morning: 8 A.M !

Un petit jeu, entre blogueuses, lancé par Aude.
Le principe est simple : elle a envoyé un colis contenant un vêtement à l’une des 7 participantes.
J’ai été la blogueuse qu’elle a choisi en premier, et j’ai eu la chance de recevoir par surprise, d’Aix-en-provence, une jolie boite contenant cette robe, des brins de lavande noués entre eux et quelques calissons…!!!

Le but du jeu est simplement de s’offrir des petits cadeaux, sans se prévenir à l’avance de qui recevra quoi, puis de prendre des photos avec le vêtement reçu.
Je dois donc, à mon tour, poster un colis contenant un vêtement de mon choix (et un collier de nouilles ! chose promise, chose dûe !)
J’hésite entre Mélanie, Céline, Leeloo, Pauline, Aude, Marion ou Julie…To be continued.

A small game, between blogers, launched by Aude.
The principle is simple: she sent a parcel containing a clothe to one of 7 girls.
I was the 1st bloger that she chose, and I was lucky to receive a surprise, from Aix-en-provence (South-East of France), an attractive parcel containing this dress, some lavender tied with a ribbon and some calissons !!!

The purpose of the game is simply to offer ourselves small presents, without warning in advance from whom will receive what, and then to take some photos with the received clothe.
I thus have to, in my turn, post a parcel containing a garment of my choice (and a necklace of noodles! I promised it !)
I hesitate between Mélanie, Céline , Leeloo, Pauline, Aude, Marion or Julie…To be continued.

Gossip Girl à Paris – Making of

Toute la journée de dimanche a été consacrée à ce shooting.

Sur une idée de Laetitia, coiffeuse et maquilleuse durant son temps libre, et avec la participation de Bianca, fraîchement sortie de son stage de stylisme au magazine WAD, nous avons pris les poses à divers endroits de la capitale, Haleigh et moi.

C’est donc un choix délibéré de ma part de ne pas vous dévoiler les tenues que nous portions Haleigh et moi, afin de garder la surprise intacte. Encore plusieurs jours avant de pouvoir récupérer les superbes photos prises par Pascal, notre photographe du jour…j’en trépigne d’impatience !

Le but de ce shooting n’était pas de recopier les tenues de Serena et Blair, dans les épisodes tant attendus de la saison 4 (qui sont diffusés aujourd’hui même aux USA), mais de faire preuve de créativité à recréer nos propres looks, avec d’autres vêtements (nous n’avions pas de Moschino ou d’Oscar de la Renta sous la main…) en posant dans d’autres lieux que ceux choisis par l’équipe de Gossip Girl.

J’espère que cet aperçu piquera votre curiosité au vif, et que vous serez au rendez-vous pour découvrir nos photos de cette inoubliable journée !

All Sunday was dedicated to this shooting.
On Laetitia‘s idea, hairdresser and make-up during her spare time, and with the cooperation of Bianca, freshly taken out of her styling training course at WAD magazine, we struck pose in several places of the capital, Haleigh and I.
It is thus a deliberated choice from me not to reveal you the dresses that we wore Haleigh and I, to keep the intact surprise. We’ll have to wait several days before being able to get back the magnificent photos taken by Pascal, our day photographer I can’t wait !

The purpose of this shooting was not to copy out the dresses of Serena and Blair, in the episodes long-awaited of the season 4 (which are broadcasted this very day in the USA), but to show creativity to recreate our own looks, with the other clothes (we had no Moschino or no Oscar de la Renta in our closets) by posing in the other places which those choose by the team of Gossip Girl.
I hope that this look form the backstage will cut your curiosity in the deep, and that you’ll all be there to discover our photos of this unforgettable day!

Une journée, une robe, moult activités ! ENJOY !

A day, a dress, many activities ! ENJOY !

10 A.M – Breakfast

11 A.M – Choosing a dress to wear : it’ll be a Sandro, from this summer collection (approuved by my personnal stylist)

12 Midday – Bicycle stroll with my boyfriend

4 P.M – Meeting at Le Loir dans la théière with girls (Bianca the stylist & Laetitia the organizer)

5 P.M – Planning our « Gossip Girl in Paris » shooting…the cakes were delicious. Do we look like Serena & Blair? (with my Haleigh , aka Bardot in Blue)

6 P.M – On our way to Haleigh’s appartment, to have a look at her wardrobe…

7 P.M – Laetitia made me a fishtail braid : I ♥ it !!!

8 P.M – CUDDLE time !! Awe he’s like a baby in my arms !

9 P.M – ♥ BONUS ♥ : Batman plays in his box, like a tiger in a cage !

And you can have a look at HOW WELL Robert (my boyfriend’s Grandma’s cat) is asleep….WEIRD !

J’avais bien aimé cette pub, il y a quelques années, en lisant la magazine « Seventeen », que ma soeur ainée allait acheter chez Brentano’s, boulevard de l’Opéra.

Le t-shirt que portait Ashley m’avait bien tapé dans l’oeil, et j’y ai souvent pensé, sans vraiment le chercher.

Une grosse dizaine d’années plus tard, trois clics sur Ebay, et me le voila directement monté chez moi, par ma gentille gardienne.

Il me plait, ce petit t-shirt Pop Art

I had liked this advert, a few years ago, reading the « Seventeen » magazine, which my sister used to bought at Brentano’s, boulevard of the Opera, in Paris.
The T-shirt Ashley wears had caught my attention, and I often thought about it, without really looking for it.
Around ten years later, three clicks on Ebay, et voila, directly brought to me, by my kind guard.
